Our Community House (located at 145 Beausoleil Street) provides educational, recreational and social programs that meet the needs of the residents of Lowertown East. The Community House also offers a physical space for residents that facilitates the identification of community needs, encourages the social integration of its members and promotes harmony and greater community participation.
Boundaries for the Community House services: St Patrick Street (North) to Rideau Street (South) and Vanier Parkway (East) to King Edward Street (West).
Boundaries for the Food Distribution Program: same as for all other services plus the Byward Market area from Boteler Street (North) to George Street (South) and Kind Edward Street (East) to Sussex Parkway (West).
Millennium Learning Centre
Free access to computers, printer, photocopier and the Internet. Monday through Fridays 9-12pm (closed for lunch) and again from 1-4:30 pm.
Every Tuesday from 7-8:30pm.
Residents can come meet an Employment Consultant. First Wednesday of the month 1:30-3pm.
Offered at the Community House every Tuesday from 1:30 to 3:30pm and on Wednesdays from 9am to 11:30pm.

Free breakfast à la carte every Monday from 9:30 to 11:30.
We offer emergency food supplies (full once a month and extras every week based on availability) to Lowertown residents (see boundaries/catchment area). Every Tuesday 5:30-7:30pm and Wednesday from 8-11:30am.
Emergency access to Kitchen and Laundry Room
Available to Lowertown Residents and families staying in Econolodge. Call us for additional information and availability.
