Activities for Youth
At the LCRC we have many programs for youth run by qualified staff who offer a safe, welcoming and healthy environment for Lowertown kids.
Children and Youth Program
Every program is free and serves healthy snacks, helps with homework and runs fun physical activities for the youth after school.
Enrolling kids in our programs often give families their first contact with the LCRC which allows them to be connected to all of the other supports we offer such as our food bank, help with housing and walk-in counseling.
The Children and Youth Program offers a variety of programs and activities for Lowertown Children and Youth ages 6 to 30.
Note: Registration is required for ALL programs. All programs are FREE for residents of Lowertown.
In partnership with Prezdential Basketball, Sandy Hill Community Health Centre, Boys and Girls Club Ottawa, we offer weekly access to gyms for youth Basketball and an annual tournament. Contact Chanzo (email@example.com) for more information and click here to register.
*Only for Lowertown and Sandy Hill youth.
