A beautiful partnership between the Lowertown Community Resource Centre (LCRC – us), MASC, Ottawa West Community Support and Ottawa Community Housing to offer Afro-Caribbean Dance balcony workshops to seniors living in Lowertown. The idea was to bring a fun cultural activity that would break isolation, encourage physical activity and build community. The program is led by energetic MASC artist Suzan Richards, funded by New Horizons and will run Tuesday mornings from August 11 until October 13, 2020.
